Did you see the mishap at the Miss Universe 2015 Pageant last night? If not, I’m sure you heard about it…
The host, Steve Harvey, announced the wrong Miss Universe 2015 winner. He had to come back on stage to apologize and announce the real winner. He stepped up and admitted he read the card wrong to the world.
Hey, it could happen to any of us.
But, if you’ve been on social media at all after the show or today then you’ve noticed all the bashing people are doing to Steve for his mistake.
We all make mistakes. Just as King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 7:20: “There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins.”
We’re all sinners. We all make mistakes.
Now, I’ll admit, I couldn’t believe the mistake and laughed about it (Laughter is good for the soul), but I also felt bad for everyone involved. But I don’t condemn Steve for it, for I know I make mistakes all the time.
As for the people who are giving a lot of hate towards Steve for it, here’s what Jesus says…
“If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” -John 8:7
So, if any one of you have never made a mistake, then let them be the first to throw a stone at him.
Don’t spread the hate… Keep spreading the Word!
