Yesterday I went to my first Worship Night at my church.
I’ll tell you what… it was refreshing, especially during this time of the year with all of the hustle and bustle going around. You know, all the worldly chatter.
Got to sing praises to our Father in Heaven. What’s better than that?! And He definitely gave rest for my soul. Ah… refreshing.
So in-between songs there were Bible verses on the screen, and this one really caught my eye which I want to share with you:
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” -Psalm 51:10-12
What a beautiful passage.
Dwell on it for a while… We could all use a pure heart from God.
