A fellow Christian shared this video which is titled, God Does Not Exist. I couldn’t help but watch it, and wow! It’s powerful.
After watching the video, Matthew 11:28-30 really struck out to me.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” -Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus said, “Come to me…” He’s telling us to come to Him!
God is all around us. You have to come to Him with your troubles. You have to seek Him out (seek and you will find).
He may not instantly take away your pain, but He will give you the strength to get through whatever trials you’re going through.
“For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.“
I remember when I was going through the divorce, I was at work and felt really down. Just couldn’t shake it. I couldn’t take it anymore so I asked God to help me get through this trial in my life and take away the pain.
Instantly, the pain was gone. I felt His presence and it was amazing. One minute I couldn’t think straight and the next was calm.
I was at peace.
Now God didn’t take away my troubles, He took away the pain and gave me the strength to get through my troubles.
